Pricing for Maternity Sessions
Maternity sessions are $300. Select locations require an additional travel or permit fee. Session retainer fees are collected along with an agreement in order to save time for you on our schedule. At that time, your session date, time, and location is chosen and booked on our calendar.
How booking happens…
Contact us for detailed information about the session experience, and we will give you a call. This call is short, but important for providing you with the best experience. We want to get to know you and your family and learn what makes this baby special so that unique photos can be created. After discussing your goals, if we are a good fit, you will be sent an agreement.
Planning Consult & Maternity Photo Session
A pre-session consult is offered for every client in the photographer’s studio. This allows us to get to know each other more before the photos are created, and enables you to be more relaxed on the day of the shoot. You may also try on gowns from our wardrobe and choose coordinating flower crowns. All the choices during the consult are noted by Jennifer and prepared for your session before you arrive for photos.
On the day of the session, follow Jennifer’s guidelines on how to get the best photos from your session. A typical full maternity session is 1 hour with an optional wardrobe change in the middle. Once the session is complete, Jennifer will choose the best images and they will be hand edited. Everything up to this point is covered by the cost of the session fee.
In-person Review Session & Product Ordering
Upon completion of editing, Jennifer invites your family back for an in-person ordering session. At this meeting you will look at the photos for the first time in a slideshow set to music. From there, individual photos can be reviewed and products purchased. Jennifer will coordinate colors and styles you may have for your home or nursery room with your purchases. Payment for the products will be taken at the time your order is placed.
Final proofs of any designed items are emailed for your approval. After the final designed artwork pieces or announcements are signed off an finalized, Jennifer will place the order with her artwork suppliers. The orders are commonly shipped to her for a final quality inspection before you pick them up. The session is complete, the clients have their product, and sharing of these amazing images begins with family and friends.
